Can fate be signed, sealed and delivered?
When Allegra North parted from first love Francis after a decade together, she poured all her regret into a letter. He didn’t reply. A year later, her job brings her back to the beautiful Devon coast where romance first blossomed and she hopes that they can start a new chapter.
As summer storms circle, the exes juggle rebellious parents, vengeful family members and a very reluctant celebrity author who holds the key to everybody’s future . . .
The Love Letter is a wonderfully warm comedy of mistaken identities, new loves and old flames.

A warm, funny tale from the best-selling author, showing why you should never write a break-up letter
An undeniably well-written book
Reminiscent of Jilly Cooper's riotous romps, this countryside saga is an essential summer travel companion: sexy, funny and at more than 600 pages it'll last longer than a holiday romance
A perfect holiday read
The Love Letter is a fabulous romp with great character, lots of twisty-turny plots and plenty of laughs. Walker obviously loves words, and I felt I could feel the sheer fun she had writing this book rising off the page -- which made it an absolute pleasure to read.
Immediately loveable . . . an utter delight from start to finish . . . Add to that Fiona Walker's enviable skill of creating an engaging setting and very real band of characters and you have the recipe for a jolly fun ride
We heart this outrageously good romance
Deliciously naughty
